Pre-Conference Sessions

Pre-conference sessions have been designed to engage delegates in deepening our understanding and interest in the three themes of the Symposium:
The Personalization of Learning
  • How is choice, flexibility, relevancy and authenticity understood – by the learner? by the educator? by the learning systems?
  • What pedagogies and instructional practices support the personalization of learning?
Learning (and Social) Networks
  • How is formal and informal learning embraced and recognized by the learner? by the educator? by the learning system?
  • How can local and global communities collaborate in support of learning to meet needs identified in a changing world?
Innovation and Ingenuity
  • What challenges and opportunities are driving change?
  • How will learning spaces and technology shape and be shaped to meet future needs?

Guest Experts will be leading discussions on each of our three    themes.

Once registered, delegates will be given access to the discussions area on the website and will be invited to join with the community and “Resident Expert” to share and explore our themes.
